Terms of Service

What we provide

CareerFuse is a free web application offering: (1) an AI-assisted resume builder with downloadable templates, (2) ATS (Applicant Tracking System) scoring against job descriptions, and (3) a suite of 37 browser-based PDF utilities. Most features run entirely in your browser. A small number of features call our AI provider for text generation — those are listed in our privacy policy.

Accepting these terms

By accessing or using CareerFuse (the "Service") you confirm that you can form a binding contract with us, will follow these terms and any laws that apply to you, and are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Your content, your ownership

The resumes, cover letters, and files you create with CareerFuse are yours. We claim no ownership of anything you write or upload. The templates, the AI prompts, the website design, the source code, and the CareerFuse name remain ours.

When you use AI features (resume parsing, ATS scoring, inline rewrites), you grant us a minimal, temporary license to send your text to our AI provider so it can return a result. We don't store the request, don't train models on your data, and don't share it beyond what a single API call needs.

Acceptable use

Don't use CareerFuse to:

• Submit content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
• Generate fake credentials, fraudulent resumes, or content meant to deceive an employer about someone else's identity.
• Scrape, mirror, or reverse-engineer the Service, or otherwise place automated load on it beyond ordinary use.
• Bypass rate limits, security mechanisms, or authentication.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or violate any law that applies to you.

We may suspend or terminate access if we suspect abuse, with or without notice.

No warranty on AI output

AI-generated suggestions — resume bullets, ATS analysis, keyword matches — are best-effort guidance, not guarantees. Models can be wrong, miss context, or invent things that sound plausible. Review everything before you send it to an employer. CareerFuse doesn't promise interviews, callbacks, or job offers, and isn't responsible for hiring decisions based on content you generated with our tools.

Service "as is" + liability limit

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, CareerFuse and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim will not exceed ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees) or the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater. Since the Service is free, that amount is usually zero.

Changes to the Service and these terms

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll update the "last updated" date below. If a change is material, we'll surface a notice on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or related to the Service or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
